[18 Nov 2005|10:00am] [ mood | excited ] Hey guys, this is Jonathan coming to you from the studio, letting you guys in on what's been going down. A week ago we got tones and started drums, and now we are set today to finish the music portion of the record. A lot of goofiness has gone on in the meantime, including an epic guitar solo duel (think crossroads) between Junior and I, a skid row sing along, and hollywood (josh) offering everyone that comes close to him mustache rides. Goofiness aside however, the record is coming along better than we could have ever hoped and Jason Mcentire has been absolutely amazing to work with. Today is the last day of guitars and since brandon is taking a day off, you know what that means... guitar solos. We start on vocals monday and hope to have this record ready for everyone to listen to in the comfort of their own homes in february. Big News [17 Oct 2005|01:37pm] [ music | Calico system ] Hey guys, Sorry about the lack of updates, but we finally have some news worth talking about. We begin pre-production with producer Jason Mcentire (Gravity Kills, So They Say, Radio Iodine) on thursday, and we are extremely excited about working with him. Recording begins on the 11th of November, and will be finished sometime in early december, so keep your fingers crossed for us, and start telling your friends!
